What most people don't know is that due to the lack of volunteers The Salvation Army Hires Bell Ringers. These employees along with drivers and regular employees who take time out of their day for Kettles result in a 50% cost to donations. Add that to a 10% cost that Divisional Headquarters takes and local donations are at less than 50%. The remainder of those funds goes to a underfunded church. They have their own religion and the Majors in Lincoln only give 7% in tithing. (I have the audit)
